Well done, the IE navigator!

I believe you make this based on “what people want”, good, very exciting features such as favorite search, delete unwant result, highlighting & suggestion.

I am advising something more here, that you may easily develop base on current features:

Enhance the suggestion, you can make a Taobao/amazon/eachnet customered IE (or make Taobao.com guys make it by themselves, you have coorperate with them, right?), when people type “buy notepad”, it show some wonderful search results from taobao.com. or something like that.

Add some interesting thing in this navigator to attract people, such as a small game you developed. or Easter eggs. You can have many more ideas on this.

Connect to many other program from here! Make people run photoshop, or snap picture, or something more!

I think IE navigator can be an nice cmd.exe, to power people do most of the thing they want on windows (then they spend most of times in IE), it can be a powerful weapon!

As I looked through all these FEATURES, I can’t say this is what I want!

You IE team just always make things too TECHNIC, you need to add something new, something really exiting people. so that people can turn to IE & say “you see, the new IE is really exiting.” you need to make people surprise & admire, but not just say by your self,”Does this sound interesting?” No!

Let me tell you what can make people surprise, at least in China.

1. You can make an website, that can support IE very good, but do not support other browser so well. Put MUCH MORE interesting pages in this website. & Show to people how IE is interesting. Try to give people a surprise! & admire! Do not just do as your TECHNIC brain think!

2. Develop something that can make people develop their own page just in IE, they can rebuild whatever interesting page they like, & use for their own site. If possible, make the ie can connect to a database, sql server or mysql or something.

what I think:

Things are moving so quickly.

What I think is that the WEB 2.0 follow the traditional business so quickly, from every angel, step by step.

And now, in the other side, when we want to start or develop an business, no matter traditional or internet time business, we are going to get a reference on Web 2.0.

The Traditional business & Web 2.0 business will move on like 2 legs of man.

As known from one outspace website, that Hunan Jishou has an inssurection from setp. 4th, 2008.

As said, about 100 thousand people attend the insurrection.

The reason why this happened can be a long story. From 2004, some people collect money from common people, by providing a higher interest rate than the bank. Before long, many people give money to these collecting people, hoping to get some higher profit than some other way. The total amount of the collect raised rapidly to three billion in less than 3 years.

Recently, at the end of July & beginning of Auguest, some collecting people take these huge amount of money run away, 300 million disapeared immediately.  Some people who knows this message then take out their money soon. For now, about 700 million was taken out, & cause the money collection developer bankrupted. most of the people can not get their money back.

Those people who lost money are very angry now, they go on street and railway station & shout “turn my money back”. That’s the situation the picture shown in this page.

Seems the influence of this event is increasing & will be know by other common people in China.
